Phenol Formaldehyde Resin

Phenol Formaldehyde Resin, also known as Phenolic Resin, is a thermosetting polymer derived from the reaction of Phenol with Formaldehyde. By using an acid or a base as a catalyst during a step-growth polymerization reaction, we can create phenolic resins. These resins are offered in mild and dark shades of white and brown.

Alkyl Phenolic Resin

Alkyl phenolic resin, sometimes referred to as alkyl phenol formaldehyde resin or alkylated phenolic resin, is a type of thermosetting resin that is created when formaldehyde reacts with alkyl phenols. Alkyl groups like methyl, ethyl, or propyl are replaced onto the phenolic hydroxyl groups in this phenolic resin variant. These resins come in light and dark yellow, violet, and brown shades.

Bakelite Mouldings

Viscose spinning pots, sometimes referred to as rayon production vessels or rayon spinning pots, are specialised tools used in the production of rayon fibres. These pots, formerly known as “Topham Boxes”, were the original machinery for spinning viscose into rayon yarn. A higher quality of ingredients, such as Bakelite, moulding powder, ebonite, and many others, are used to speed up the rotation of the rayon pot.
